Faith Hospice Profile: Shelly Baas, Director of Operations

Shelly began her hospice career as a case manager in 1998 and joined Faith Hospice in 2012, focusing on education and training. Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, she advanced into an admissions and operations management role. She now serves as Director of Operations, helping to lead our hospice, social work, bereavement, and spiritual care services.

A problem-solver by nature, Shelly has always had a passion for caring for and connecting with older adults. Hearing their stories, celebrating their successes, witnessing their milestones, and connecting with their families make her work all that much more rewarding.

Shelly embraces challenging operational projects, and her heart for people and the Faith Hospice mission continues to motivate her. Shelly has played an integral role in building a culture that upholds the excellence Faith Hospice is known for. Her vision for her ongoing work is to continuously improve Faith Hospice’s system and efficiencies to ensure we are caring for patients and their loved ones to the best of our abilities.
