Faith Hospice Profile: Kate Meyer, Counseling Services Manager

As Counseling Services Manager, Kate oversees spiritual caregiving, social work, and grief support counseling. She is excited to be part of a team that recognizes the vital role these services play in the end-of-life journey. Her goal is to help those we serve find and maintain peace with whatever they believe comes next.

From the moment Kate walked through our doors in July 2025, she knew Faith Hospice was where she was meant to be. She felt a unique blend of peace and purpose plus an energy centered on serving patients and making a difference. As an ordained minister and licensed counselor, Kate was especially drawn to the organization’s deep commitment to spiritual care and counseling, making the role a natural fit.

Kate began her career working in hospitals, then transitioned into hospice care. It quickly became clear that serving those at the end of life was her calling, and she added a counseling degree to her credentials to better care for the people she serves. Kate is also the author of two books that explore faith and grief.
