Responsibilities

Requires full licensure as a Master's prepared Social Worker in the State of Michigan. Requires a minimum of one year of medical social work experience. Knowledg of community based resources is preferred.

Floor Care Technician

Responsibilities

Identifies cause and determines method of removing stains from floors, carpets and furniture using a variety of cleaning equipment and supplies. Strips, waxes and polishes floors as directed. Shampoos carpets as directed. Vacuums and cleans carpets and floors throughout the building including resident rooms, hall carpets and other large areas as directed; responds to requests for removal of various spills and/or stains from resident and staff.

Skills required

One to two years of floor care experience with basic knowledge of floor care equipment and procedures; various uses and capabilities of cleaning solutions and supplies. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and resident in the exchange of information. Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel and/or crouch while performing maintenance duties and operate tools and equipment necessary to perform required repairs. Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language. Evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required.

Helping Hands Assistant

Responsibilities

Assists on a non-clinical basis in the PACE center as well as some home care possible. Helps transport within the center, pass meals, assist with activities. Provides support for other staff members.

Skills required

Must have a minimum of 1 year geriatric interactment. Must have own transportation and valid drivers license/current auto insurance. Must be reliable and a self motivator.

Home Assistant

Responsibilities

Providing in home care for the elderly within the community through personal cares, light housekeeping, basic food prep, and transportation needs. Also includes assisting with ambulation and activities of daily living.

Skills required

Valid MI drivers license, reliable source of transportation, and current auto insurance. Experience working with the elderly is preferred but not required. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be organized and self motivated. Successful candidates have good computer skills and have access to email.

This position is at Helpers of Holland Home. It is a per diem position during all shifts shift, and provides a varying amount of hours per week.

Housekeeping

Responsibilities

Cleaning of resident rooms, offices, and common areas. Duties include, but are not limited to, dusting, cleaning, disinfecting, vacuuming, etc.

Skills required

1-2 years of housekeeping experience required. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and residents in the exchange of information. Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language. Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and/or crouch while performing required duties.

Medical Coder

Responsibilities

Evaluate behavioral health records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with CPT 4 coding, ICD 9 and ICD 10 as well as DMS-5. Provide technical guidance and training on coding to the HHS Health Options implementation team as well as work to create outgoing claims to payers and provide tracking of these payments to ensure timely reimbursement. Support the claims unit in processing of incoming claims, submitting 837 files to the State of Michigan, and providing resolution of any errors returned on the submission.

Skills required

Requires coding certification by AAPC or AHiMa with CEUs related to ICD-10 strongly desired. Requires a minimum of 2 years coding experience in the field of behavioral or rehabilitation. Top candidates will have the ability to complete job duties as assigned with minimal supervision, strong skills using an electronic medical record, and proficient in Microsoft Excel. Prior experience in customer service, working with clinical/professional staff, developing training tools related to diagnosis coding, processing claims, and working with non-profit organizations.

Provider Network Liaison

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships within the provider network (Home Health Care agencies, Adult Foster Care Homes, Durable Medical Equipment, etc.). Track and maintain existing contracts. Negotiate contracts with new providers, credentialing along with education on contract expectations, processes and paperwork. Participate in annual provider monitoring. Liaison between Case Managers and providers.

Skills required

Requires Bachelor's degree in human services, business management, or related field. Requires a minimum of 3 years of work related experience in claims, billing, insurance, and/or auditing. Strong communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community and program. Strong computer skills and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Provide geriatric residents assistance with activities of daily living which may include personal cares, ambulation, help with meals, transport within the campus, as well as other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Under the oversight of and in conjunction with Holland Home, Clark Retirement, Life EMS, Porter Hills, and Sunset Retirement Communities, HHS Health Options is joining together to create a new program allowing older adults to age in place. We are seeking clinical case management staff who have the ability and skills to help our patients navigate through the health care maze.

Skills required

This position requires an RN licensed in the State of Michigan who is organized, self-motivated, and driven to help develop a new program by providing education with coordination of care. This position also requires prior experience in community based services providing case management.

Other information

This position is full-time and will involve some on-call hours. Once fully oriented and the program is running, this position will eventually work out of a home office.
